Devices and Mounts
Here
we do excel. We've over 100 different offerings and there is no
substitute for coming to have a look through a few to see if type
of reticule, magnification, zoom characteristics or clarity are
what you need. Come and see us. Sporting work often benefits from
a larger objective lens but battery - lit reticules have a large
part of today's market. Many people choose a true 'dot' sight
or buy a laser - all can be explained! Obviously scope mounts
are very important and we carry a vast range to suit all applications.

Pellet
Heaven |
Twenty
years ago we boasted that we had every pellet made; not possible
today. Many pellets are duplicated and some exotic sounding pellets
turn out to be already in stock under another label! As shooters
we've weeded out one or two brands due to quality considerations
and remain committed to offering all the leading brands while
keeping ears and eyes open for any new offerings. Yes, we've got
all the good brands in all the calibres. We can advise you, give
us a call and we can narrow your choice depending on what you
want to do. |

| Lubrication
is a vital topic. Many problems - premature wear, inaccuracy
- can be caused by the wrong kind of lubricant (as well as too
much or too little). "Gun Oil" is by no means the
general elixir some consider it to be. "Oiling the barrel"
seems popular, but is it necessary? If so, with what? It is
very important that precharged rifles are treated to special
lubes. 'O' rings and bolt actions require different lubes in
turn. The mysteries of molybdenum disulphide and polytetrafluoroethylene
are known to us. Rifles with a built-in pump need their own
lube. Air chambers of powerful spring rifles must
be lubed correctly (if at all) to avoid damage.
